Sherry is a communication professional experienced in project management with engineering roots. In her current role in Alpha JWC Ventures, Sherry is responsible for supporting the firm’s communications strategy and activities, assisting in day-to-day communications aspects of the firm and its portfolio companies, and managing all online and offline assets of Alpha JWC Ventures, including its websites and social media.
Before joining Alpha JWC Ventures, Sherry began her professional career in a Nike footwear manufacturing company, with her first position as Chemical Engineering Development Lead. She transitioned to a Nike Sportswear Developer role, managing the project development of numerous Nike new models up until the production phase. Sherry then joined Appen as an independent contractor, participating in several social media evaluation and translation projects while pursuing her MBA degree.
She receives her bachelor of engineering degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung, majoring in Engineering Physics, and later received her MBA degree in Strategic Marketing from the same institution. An outright extrovert, Sherry loves connecting with people as she enjoyed MCing for several events in her previous company in the past. She also loves swimming and enjoys a good round of water polo.
